Sweet Orange essential oil has been known to help to reduce nervous tension and stress. It helps to create a sense of calm and coziness.
In traditional Chinese medicine the peel of the orange, where the essential oil is extracted, has been known to treat symptoms of colds and flu as it is considered antiviral.
You can use it in your own skincare blends, just remember to dilute it first. For inhalation – oil burners or diffusers are great but if you don’t have one, a cotton bud on the radiator will do the trick as well.
